How did Jews react to Roman Rule?
In 63 Bce the roman took over judah.At first,they ruled through out jewish kings.Then in 6AD,Emperor augusts turned judah into a roman province called judea . Instead of a kind they called it procurator ruled the new province. Jews argued among themselves over what they should do about the Romans. Some worked with them other opposed Roman rules bu following Jewish traditions. Other still turned their backs on the Romans so they settled in isolated areas and shared their belongings.
WHERE THE JEWISH SUCCESSFUL ?
Of course some Jews though fighting the Romans they could get back their land. They were called zealots convinced many Jews to take up arms and go against Romans in 55 AD. But sadly the rebellion was thrush the Romans destroyed The Temple and killed thousands of Jews. Again they rebelled against the Romans and were again defeated and banned to never come back to the city. They were scattered because they didn't know where to go.Many found homes some where else. 700 the Jews had set up communities as far west as Spain and so far east as central Asia. Jews kept their faith alive by studying and and following their religious rules.
